Requirements
Figma requires an active account and an API access token from your account settings to connect — both are set up on its own site.[3]
Get your Figma credentials
Credential type option 1
Figma - Personal Access Token
- Personal Access TokenpasswordRequired
Generate a personal access token in your account settings under Account → Personal access tokens. For the Payments, Developer Logs and AI Usage modules, paste a plan access token here instead.

Figma
You’ll be redirected to sign in and approve access — your password is never shared with WEXTL.

Select exactly the scopes enabled on your OAuth app (Figma Developers, My apps, your app, OAuth scopes). Figma rejects authorization if you request a scope the app has not enabled. org:activity_log_read is only needed for the Activity Log modules.

Connect Figma in WEXTL
- Log in to your WEXTL account, add the Figma node module to your workflow, and click Create new credential.Instant triggers use webhooks — click Create a webhook first when adding one, then create the credential.
- Optional: In the Credential name field, enter a name for the credential.
- Enter the authentication credentials you copied from your Figma account, or follow the on-screen instructions to create the credential.
- If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
- If you want to make changes to your credential in the future, follow the steps in Manage credentials →
