Requirements

Before you set up the credential, make sure you have an active Netlify account and an API access token from your account settings ready.[3]

Get your Netlify credentials

Credential type option 1

Netlify - Primary

Go to https://app.netlify.com/user/applications#personal-access-tokens → Personal access tokens, select New access token, configure the name, team access, and expiration, then Generate token, copy and securely save it, and click Done.

Netlify - Secondary

You’ll be redirected to sign in and approve access — your password is never shared with WEXTL.

Login into Netlify → User settings → Applications → OAuth applications → New OAuth application; Netlify then gives you the Client ID and Client Secret.

Connect Netlify in WEXTL

Log in to your WEXTL account, add the Netlify node module to your workflow, and click Create new credential.
Optional: In the Credential name field, enter a name for the credential.
Enter the authentication credentials you copied from your Netlify account, or follow the on-screen instructions to create the credential.
If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
If you want to make changes to your credential in the future, follow the steps in Manage credentials →
