Crowdin Integration

Crowdin localization and translation management — projects, source files, strings, translations, translation memory, glossaries, screenshots, tasks, and AI-assisted localization workflows. Bring Crowdin into visual workflows so engineering operations do not depend on glue scripts. Start from Watch Account Event, then trigger AI Gateway GET or Auto-Translation Report.

How to integrate Crowdin in automation workflow?

3 simple steps to make your Crowdin connected with other apps in automation workflows on WEXTL. Up to 10 minutes integration set up.

How Crowdin connects and integrates with WEXTL

Save and approve your credentials once — WEXTL® stores authorization information encrypted and reuses the authentication whenever Crowdin app is called in workflows. That allows your developer tools automations to run without your attention, per defined schedule [7]. Explore documentation [6] for a detailed list of fields that Crowdin supports.

The following table illustrates what fields Crowdin integration require during authorization flow inside our workflow builder [4].

FieldTypeHelp
Personal Access TokenRequired
password

Personal Access Token from Crowdin (Account Settings → API → Personal Access Tokens → New Token). Your token must include the scopes for the modules you plan to run — as a starting set: project, project.source.file, project.source.string, project.translation, project.webhook. Treat it like a password.

Enterprise Organization Domaintext

Leave blank to connect to Crowdin.com. To connect to Crowdin Enterprise, enter your organization's subdomain — the "foo" in foo.api.crowdin.com. This is the subdomain prefix, not your organization's display name, and may differ from it on custom-domain deployments.

Connect Crowdin to popular apps on WEXTL

Enter a name of the other app you want to sync with Crowdin below. Click on selected app to explore integration options with Crowdin. If the app you search for is not available in WEXTL yet, you can use HTTP node [10] instead to integrate it directly.

Example automation with Crowdin integration

Select Watch Project Event trigger from Crowdin - this will be a starting point in your automation. Whenever event happens in Crowdin, workflow will start [7] from Watch Project Event node.

Search for Add Project, connect it as the next step of integration sequence. You can use filters between Watch Project Event and Add Project, so only important data pass from Watch Project Event to the next step. WEXTL gives you full control over the process of Crowdin automation. All parts of workflow are visible on the canvas [4].

Crowdin on WEXTL has 435 modules for creating developer tools automations. Explore Crowdin documentation for more.
