How to integrate Yokoy in automation workflow?

3 simple steps to make your Yokoy connected with other apps in automation workflows on WEXTL. Up to 10 minutes integration set up.

How Yokoy connects and integrates with WEXTL

Save and approve your credentials once — WEXTL® stores authorization information encrypted and reuses the authentication whenever Yokoy app is called in workflows. That allows your finance automations to run without your attention, per defined schedule [7]. Explore documentation [6] for a detailed list of fields that Yokoy supports.

The following table illustrates what fields Yokoy integration require during authorization flow inside our workflow builder [4].

FieldTypeHelp
EnvironmentRequired
select

Select the environment to connect to. Use Test for development and testing purposes. Use Production for live data.

Client IDRequired
text

Enter your OAuth2 Client ID. To obtain this, log into your app as a developer user, navigate to Admin > Developer at the bottom of the Admin menu, and click Generate credentials. Select OAuth Credentials, enter a unique name, and your Client ID will be displayed. Copy it immediately as it is non-recoverable.

Client SecretRequired
password

Enter your OAuth2 Client Secret. This is generated alongside your Client ID in Admin > Developer. Copy it immediately as it is unique and non-recoverable. If lost, you must revoke access and generate new credentials.

Organization IDRequired
text

Enter your Organization ID. You can find this in the top right corner of Admin > Organization Settings if you have an organization admin role, or under Admin > Developer if you have a developer role.

Connect Yokoy to popular apps on WEXTL

Enter a name of the other app you want to sync with Yokoy below. Click on selected app to explore integration options with Yokoy. If the app you search for is not available in WEXTL yet, you can use HTTP node [10] instead to integrate it directly.

Example automation with Yokoy integration

Select Watch Invoices trigger from Yokoy - this will be a starting point in your automation. Whenever event happens in Yokoy, workflow will start [7] from Watch Invoices node.

Search for Get an Invoice File, connect it as the next step of integration sequence. You can use filters between Watch Invoices and Get an Invoice File, so only important data pass from Watch Invoices to the next step. WEXTL gives you full control over the process of Yokoy automation. All parts of workflow are visible on the canvas [4].

Yokoy on WEXTL has 52 modules for building finance automations. Explore Yokoy documentation for more.
