How to integrate NocoDB in automation workflow?

3 simple steps to make your NocoDB connected with other apps in automation workflows on WEXTL. Up to 10 minutes integration set up.

How NocoDB connects and integrates with WEXTL

Save and approve your credentials once — WEXTL® stores authorization information encrypted and reuses the authentication whenever NocoDB app is called in workflows. That allows your database automations to run without your attention, per defined schedule [7]. Explore documentation [6] for a detailed list of fields that NocoDB supports.

The following table illustrates what fields NocoDB integration require during authorization flow inside our workflow builder [4].

FieldTypeHelp
Base URLRequired
text

Full NocoDB v3 API base including the version cut, e.g. https://app.nocodb.com/api/v3. No trailing slash.

API TokenRequired
password

API token from your account settings. Sent as xc-token header. NocoDB Cloud personal-access-tokens (nc_pat_*) also work here.

Workspace IDtext

Workspace ID used for connection verification and as the default parent for listing bases. Either this or Verify Base ID must be provided.

Verify Base IDtext

Fallback Base ID used for connection verification when Workspace ID is not set. Either this or Workspace ID must be provided.

Connect NocoDB to popular apps on WEXTL

Enter a name of the other app you want to sync with NocoDB below. Click on selected app to explore integration options with NocoDB. If the app you search for is not available in WEXTL yet, you can use HTTP node [10] instead to integrate it directly.

Example automation with NocoDB integration

Select Count Table Records action from NocoDB - this will be a starting point in your automation. Whenever event happens in NocoDB, workflow will start [7] from Count Table Records node.

Search for Create Table, connect it as the next step of integration sequence. You can use filters between Count Table Records and Create Table, so only important data pass from Count Table Records to the next step. WEXTL gives you full control over the process of NocoDB automation. All parts of workflow are visible on the canvas [4].

NocoDB on WEXTL has 44 modules for crafting database automations. Explore NocoDB documentation for more.
