Requirements
To use ProfitWell on WEXTL you need an active account and an API access token from your account settings.[3]
Get your ProfitWell credentials
ProfitWell - API Key
- Private API KeypasswordRequired
Your private API token. In ProfitWell, open Account Settings, then Integrations, and click the API card. Keep it secret: it can read and change all of your company's data.

ProfitWell - Events API Key
- Public API TokenpasswordRequired
Your public token, shown next to the private token under Account Settings, then Integrations. It is the token profitwell.js uses and only works for sending customer events.

The ID of one customer that already exists in ProfitWell, for example cus_1234. The events API has no read-only check, so saving this connection records one login event for this customer to prove the token works.

Connect ProfitWell in WEXTL
- Log in to your WEXTL account, add the ProfitWell node module to your workflow, and click Create new credential.
- Optional: In the Credential name field, enter a name for the credential.
- Enter the authentication credentials you copied from your ProfitWell account, or follow the on-screen instructions to create the credential.
- If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
- If you want to make changes to your credential in the future, follow the steps in Manage credentials →
