Requirements
Before you set up the credential, make sure you have an active Stax Bill account and an API access token from your account settings ready.[3]
Get your Stax Bill credentials
- Stax - API KeytextRequired
Your Stax API secret key (
required). - Once you log in to Stax Pay, you can create a key by clicking Apps from the side menu.- On the Apps page, click API Keys, and then click Launch.
- On the API Keys App, click New Key.
- On the Key Creation page, enter a name for the key and assign a role, then click Save.
- The new key will appear in the list of keys.
- Click the key icon next to the API key to view, copy, or delete the key. Keep this key secure and never expose it in client-side code or public repositories. You can generate or manage your API keys from the Stax dashboard. For more details, see the Stax API Documentation.
Connect Stax Bill in WEXTL
- Log in to your WEXTL account, add the Stax Bill node module to your workflow, and click Create new credential.Instant triggers use webhooks — click Create a webhook first when adding one, then create the credential.
- Optional: In the Credential name field, enter a name for the credential.
- Enter the authentication credentials you copied from your Stax Bill account, or follow the on-screen instructions to create the credential.
- If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
- If you want to make changes to your credential in the future, follow the steps in Manage credentials →
