Connecting LiveChat takes an active account plus OAuth client credentials, granted by signing in with your account — no other setup is required.[3]https://www.livechat.com

You’ll be redirected to sign in and approve access — your password is never shared with WEXTL.

  • Client IDtextRequired

Client Id of a server-side app in the Developer Console. The app's Access scopes must include chats--all:ro, chats--all:rw, customers:ro, customers:rw, customers.ban:rw, agents--all:ro, agents--all:rw, agents-bot--all:ro, multicast:rw, and webhooks.configuration:rw. Authorize does not send a scope parameter. There is a limit of 25 access tokens and 25 refresh tokens per client per user. The oldest is revoked.

  • Client SecretpasswordRequired

Client Secret of that app. It is shown once. Send it only from this connection.

LiveChat - API Key

  • Account IDtextRequired

The Account ID shown when you create a Personal Access Token in the Developer Console. Scopes are chosen there and cannot be changed later. Include webhooks.configuration:rw if you will attach a webhook, plus the scopes for the modules you call.

    [1]
  • API KeypasswordRequired

The Personal Access Token from that same screen. The connection encodes Account ID and this token as Basic auth. Paste the token, not the Base64 line.

  1. Log in to your WEXTL account, add the LiveChat node module to your workflow, and click Create new credential.
Instant triggers use webhooks — click Create a webhook first when adding one, then create the credential.
  2. Optional: In the Credential name field, enter a name for the credential.
  3. Enter the authentication credentials you copied from your LiveChat account, or follow the on-screen instructions to create the credential.
  4. If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
  5. If you want to make changes to your credential in the future, follow the steps in Manage credentials →

Notes

Credentials are org-scoped; share them with teammates from the Credentials picker on any of its nodes. For detailed information on connecting an application, see Connect an application →
